The customer is offered RE-ZIP’s sustainable packaging in the webshop’s check-out.
The webshop packs the goods in the RE-ZIP packaging and registers its serial number on the order.
The order is shipped with a shipping label as usual. Afterward, RE-ZIP is responsible for the rest.
When we work together to reuse RE-ZIP’s packaging, we emit significantly less CO2. The more we recycle the packaging, the greater the benefit to the environment. RE-ZIP packaging is designed to be used up to 30 times. Compared to disposable packaging produced in recycled cardboard material, the RE-ZIP bags reduce CO2-emissions by as much as 84% if they are used ten times.
Ecommerce is a large-scale consumer of disposable packaging. Customers are increasingly finding it difficult to dispose of the large quantities of packaging they receive. At the same time, packaging manufacturers are busy producing even more disposable packaging, and even if they use recycled materials, this does not significantly change CO2 emissions.
Disposable packaging is therefore neither appropriate for the customer nor our environment. Fortunately, the solution is ready, because reusable packaging can reduce CO2 emissions by as much as 84%. It is both easy and free for the business to offer their customers RE-ZIP, as it is the customers themselves who pay for the sustainable alternative.
The only thing it requires is that the store creates a discount coupon that RE-ZIP can send to the customer through e-mail when RE-ZIP receives the packaging. There are no special requirements for the discount code, as long as it makes sense for the business and gives the customer an incentive to return the packaging.
The suggested retail price is 35 DK kroner, but the business is free to price RE-ZIP differently.
