The life cycle assessment below is based on our two most used packaging. Based on the design, material composition, and tests, we have determined a design po-tential for each one. To reach the design potential of the individual packaging, it re-quires that consumers remember to return it after use. That is why we have a strong focus on ensuring a high return rate, and continuously help consumers with incentives, reminders, and continued expansion of drop-off points.
The calculations are made by Denmark’s leading auditing and consulting company, which has made a simulation tool that makes it possible for webshops to calculate exactly how much Co2, tree consumption, and water footprint they avoid by using RE-ZIP. Read below about the environmental benefits of using RE-ZIP packaging, com-pare nets with disposable plastic and cardboard packaging.
The life cycle assessment shows significant results that can save the environment large amounts of greenhouse gases, water footprint, and tree consumption. The RE-ZIP box packaging is used up to 10 times, so therefore it is compared with 10 disposable cardboard boxes.
The calculations show that our bag packaging has a significant CO2 reduction compared to disposable plastic bags. The RE-ZIP bag packaging has been tested to circulate 30 times, which is why it is compared with 30 disposable shipping bags.
